The detailed tutorial on how to play Disciples 2
on Android Smartphones or Tablets
Disciples 2: Dark Prophecy is an x86 Windows PC strategy game released by Strategy First Inc. in 2002. It was a sequel of Disciples: Sacred Lands game, released in 1999 and turned out to be more successful one.
In Disciples 2 the events take place in the Nevendaar kingdom, also called “The Sacred Lands”. You can choose to join one of four races the Empire (humans), the Undead Hordes (skeletal), the Mountain Clans (dwarven) and the Legions of Damned (demons). There are also several other ‘neutral’ races such as Merfolk, Greenskins and Elves (the Elves became a playable race only when you install the “Rise of the Elves” special expansion pack ). The gameplay consists of the several parts:
– Building up the Capital City of your race;
– Collecting resources and breading up Armies;
– Heroes adventures for the reason of exploring the map;
– And finally crushing the enemies in bloody and cruel battles;

Disciples 2 on Mobile Devices: 4 Steps Tutorial
The whole process is really straightforward:
- Install ExaGear Strategies app from Play Store
- Install Disciples 2 on your PC
- Copy the game folder to your mobile device
- Launch ExaGear Strategies and start the game on your Android device
Now, let’s take a little bit closer look at the entire process.
Install ExaGear Strategies
Simply follow the link and install ExaGear Strategies on your Android device. Or just type “ExaGear Strategies” in the search section of Play Market.
Install Disciples 2 on your PC
Now, it’s time to get the game. We recommend you to download it from a special website www.gog.com. It’s a legal and approved way, tested by the ExaGear team. Just follow this link to download the game installer. You can also get the game somewhere else, but with GOG the result is guaranteed.
After you get the game installer file on your PC, simply double-click on it to launch the installation. Follow the prompt and don’t forget to accept the EULA. After the installation is complete, move on to the next step.
Transfer and Launch the Game on your Mobile Device
Check your local disc “C” and find the “GOG Games” folder – the folder with the game should be inside this directory. The Game folder should be entitled as “Disciples 2” (see the screenshot below).
Also note, that in some cases the folder “GOG Games” can be created in the “Program Files (x86)” directory.
To transfer the game files, you need to connect your mobile device to your PC and copy the entire content of the Disciples 2 game folder to the ExaGear folder on your Android device. To get to the right folder, you should open up “This PC” and find your device icon in the “Devices and drivers” section:
Enter your device and find the ExaGear folder.
Copy the game folder from your PC to ExaGear folder on your mobile device:
Then, start ExaGear Strategies app on Android. It should automatically find the .exe file of the game and display it on the main interface screen.
Tap on it and the controls pop-up window should appear.
As you can see on the very top of the screenshot there’s a sign saying “Controls “Helium” are recommended for this game”, this means that the system has chosen the controls automatically and you don’t need to change anything. Just make a one-time payment (or subscribe for a monthly fee) and the game should start! There’s also a 3-day trial available.
Possible Problems Solving
It may happen that the game never starts. So, you need to try the following:
1. Choose “Show unsupported executables…” option on the main screen of ExaGear Strategies.
2. Tap on “ConfigEditor.exe in Disciples 2”.
3. There should appear a pop-up window with Cuprum and Helium controls. Choose the Cuprum one (and then proceed with the “Trial launch” option)
4. In the next window find the “Use Direct3D” option and untick it. Then tap “Save button”.
5. After that, start ExaGear Strategies once again and try to launch the usual .exe file once more from the main screen. This time the game should certainly start.
